We recognise that under-represented groups in tech tend to only apply for positions if they fit 110% of the requirements, and encourage you to reach out even if you do not, but feel that you would be an asset to our team.
About us
We want to generate the next generation of interfaces in how capital allocators use AI to interact with the world of sustainability data, like how ChatGPT showed a different way to think about search. Our end-to-end data pipeline enables investors to engage in the climate transition through financial instruments more easily and faster than ever.
The team is currently at about 10 people, and plans to grow to ~20 in 2024. We have a built a first version of our platform which we successfully demoed at COP28. During Q1 we will be onboarding our first customers and throughout the rest of the year will be rapidly scaling our pool of customers and users.
About the role
We are looking for a mid-level Full-Stack Engineer to own the API between our backend and frontend applications. You will be a key part of the technical team, collaborating with the Product Engineering Lead and other engineers to deliver features across the stack.
This is a hybrid role – a combination of in-office (we are based in Central London) and remote working.
In this role, you’d get to be responsible for
- Owning the API between our frontend (NextJS/React/Typescript) and our backend (Python/Fast API).
- Implementing and maintaining features at various layers of the web stack in response to evolving business and engineering requirements.
- Developing, implementing, testing, and shipping software in Python/Typescript.
- Collaborating with other product engineers and balancing the tradeoff of shipping quickly versus building for scale, common in early stage startups like ourselves.
